Fishing Rules and Regulations

Somerset Lake is a peaceful place for residents who enjoy fishing. Because it is a private lake, fishing is for residents and their guests only. Catch and release rules apply. You’ll find a variety of fish, including large and small-mouth bass, yellow-belly and blue- gill pan fish, big cat fish and large carp. A Pennsylvania fishing license is required. No fish should be eaten. Please be careful not to leave any hooks or line behind when you pack things up. Happy fishing!
